SLADE PYRO-TEX SHEET
|We treat Pyro-Tex with a proprietary anti-oxidant which rates it for higher temperatures than other graphite foil products, even in most oxidizing environments like furnace gas services. Pyro-Tex is commonly used at elevated temperatures over 1800ºF.|
|Pyro-Tex seals harsh chemicals such as solvents, liquid petroleum gases, hydrogen gas and virtually all volatile organic compounds and chemicals at most common temperatures and concentrations.|
The strands are woven together to form a cloth which is then compressed to form a homogeneous gasket sheet. Flexible, resilient and strong. Woven Graphite Foil Cloth, compressed into an incredibly tough and flexible sheet.|
|Pyro-Tex puts poor equipment back in service by filling surface pits, scratches and surface erosion with nature's greatest sealant, vermiculated graphite. Worn, oxidized, warped and misaligned flanges may be brought back into compliance with Pyro-Tex gaskets.|
|Pyro-Tex is virtually free from creep relaxation because the high tensile Inconel (alloy 600) foil keeps it in place, preventing drift. This produces better torque retention.|
Annealed Inconel foil is jacketed with graphite foil. The soft metallic foil strengthens the graphite foil used to weave the gasketing cloth.|
|Pyro-Tex complies with EPA performance standards while offering long service life and low maintenance costs.|

|We manufacture our own patented graphite foil raw materials. We reinforce them with exotic fibers and metallic foils at our factory, here in Mooresville, North Carolina, USA.|
Easy to Ship and Store
|Pyro-Tex gasket sheets are packed in heavy duty cardboard tubes to eliminate shipping pallets. The tough tubes make the sheet easy to store and handle.|
